Comfortable Binder

My mother had an lvad implant in June 2019. The waist binders she has to keep her driveline secure are rough and scratchy. Does anyone have suggestions for alternate binders. She’s fairly petite. I appreciate any suggestions!

I use a foley anchor as it is more flexible and easier for old fingers to open and close.  It does wonders for stabilizing the driveline but has soft "ears" where you tighten them.  I buy mine online from SaveRiteMedical.com.  Item Number EEFCS300XT.

I don't.  The foley anchor I use comes with a prep package for the skin where you are going to place the anchor.  The adherent that holds it tight against the skin is sufficient without worrying about putting anything additional over it.  The little Darth Vader ears that you use to secure the driveline are very flexible and don't get in the way of anything such as clothing.  I swear by them, as do a number of those in our support group (we are mostly old folks).
