Generators for LVAD

I think generators should be included in the package with batteries, charging station, and other accessories. Does anyone know of any programs that will help LVAD patients get one?

I was told I could not use a generator to power the main controller because of the fluctuation with the power of the generator.

Use a generator to power the charger in remote areas and use the batteries to power the controller/pumps. Could that be solar instead of diesel ? Google a marine supply catalog to see how large that would have to be for the wattage you need.

Consulting a professional would be great. They are the one who could give us a true scenario of what can be done. Generator service NJ (http://bloomfieldcooling.com/services/generators/) professionals are experienced enough to help us out to choose the perfect generator.

This is what I bought about 1.5yrs ago https://www.lowes.com/pd/Troy-Bilt-XP-7000-Running-Watt-Portable-Generator-with-Briggs-Stratton-Engine/3192419 I paid to have an electrician come out and install a transfer switch so I can basically run everything in my house while it is on. I just charge my batteries while it is running. No problem doing it this way. Just never plug in directly to any type of generator. This unit while inexpensive compared to the whole home type, it can still run all our lights, refrigerators, freezers, tvs, computers, AC, etc, all at the same time.
