Tue, 03/04/2014 - 12:58AMYou have to love technology. We are the 1st generation to benefit from these devices, the pioneers of science so to speak. I can just imagine within 10-20 years how the landscape might change. I read already of a total implantable lvad chargeable with an exterior type 'doughnut.' Also there are breakthroughs with the total artificial heart. We are just at the beginning of this heart revolution.
