Heartmate 3 not on locator map

Must have to just use Heartmate 2 to search for service when travelling. Version 3 must be newer than I thought.

hi fredL, I live in Germany and I'm using a HeartMate 3. Got it at »Herzzentrum Leipzig, Universitätsklinik«. Take a look at https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kunstherz and you'll find a list of hospitals »Assist-device-Implantationen in Deutschland«that provide support. As you might imagine, I don't know all the hospitals but most of them will support HeartMate 3, at least, Leipzig, Berlin, Heidelberg, Bad Oeynhausen, Munich, Hamburg ... In case of emergency you'll get a trsnsport via helicopter to the nearest hospital. You see, there's no problem travelling in Germany :-) I'm sure you'll find information to every country looking on wikipedia searching for LVAD. Good luck and have a nice trip, Howi
