So Worried

My dad received the LVAD right before Thanksgiving due to an enlarged heart that turned into congestive heart failure. His pacemaker or difibulator was not working anymore to keep him going. Everything has been going great up until now. Last week he had a infection which turned out to be Mersa. The doctors were able to get the Mersa under control and then two days after being released from the hospital he got very swollen and had trouble breathing. He is now in the hospital being kept in a induced coma and they are trying to figure out how to get everything back on track and get his pressures down. This is very stressful and I hope by joining this group there are other people who have information and are able to provide support to our family.If anyone has been trough anything similar to this I would be greatful to hear your story..
