Kudos to Chicago Med

TV show Chicago Med on Tuesday addressed the very real side effects of the LVAD. Specifically, gastro bleeding. It has long been my opinion that the device is flawed and a redesign is necessary to stop the incidence of bleeding. Prior to his death, my husband suffered with this problem for three years, requiring a transfusion almost weekly. So, I say Kudos to Chicago Med for shining a light on this malfunction.
