Has weight loss CBT worked for you?

Hello everybody, Just wondering if anyone here has ever had success with Weight Loss Cognitive Behavioral Therapy?. I read that if you can change the way your mind thinks about eating food (then you can lose weight by doing so, by convincing yourself you only need to eat a little instead of alot). Lots of skinny people I know only eat because they are hungry. And here I am eating because I love the taste. I binge almost all the time.

I have tried CBT once and it helped me loose a few pounds. The process is quite healthy but there is one drawback to this process which is that it takes a lot of time and huge patience. Most people usually give up during the first few weeks due to less progress.
