Has anybody gone into a "Bridge to transplant " surgery, then after 3 years been told you've always been "Destination "?

That seems so unfair.  How did that happen?  Were you in the same care facility as where you started with the lvad?

There should be documentation as to what the heart failure team was after when it recommended the lvad.

Hi Frank,

I've been going to the same place since implant. G, they were supposed  to be the best in Chicago. I'm getting a second opinion at another location which really sucks having to do. 

Asked another doctor to request my records. Hoping he'll steer me to the right place. Idk what else to do from this point. I'm lost. Any ideas?
