To anyone interested if you have a "Heartmate 2", You can find a very comfortable undershirt to wear to carry you equipment under your clothing @ www.lvadshirt.com. It comes in Black or White with a short sleeve, or sleeveless. They have a fit for Men and Women. Shipping time is quick For those with a "Heartware LVAD" you can find a wonderful shirt and supplies from www.Medi-Materials. com. May I recommend getting this shirt a size or 2 larger than your fit. This is a spandex material. My brother has had a Heartmate 2 and now a Heartware these are a blessing, to not having carry around those bags.

Hi Carol, The Freedom Undervest actually is designed for all LVAD systems. We have found that the best fit is usually one shirt size smaller than a person would normally wear. Comfortably snug is what best solidly supports the equipment. However, the Undervest is very versatile! There are many people that prefer various fits to match their lifestyle and comfort level.
