The doctors staff check my equipment every six months. I always hook up to AC at night and I am going on my third year with my Heart Mate 3. During hurricanes I slept with my batteries as I did not want to tethered to a plug during an emergency. I charge the back up controller monthly by plugging it in to one of the batteries per the instructions I received from my doctor's nurse. I also change the back up batteries with a fresh charged one monthly. I feel I am learning new things from all of you and it is comforting.

My LVAD is at 6200-6250 speed. My flow is 4.0, PI is4.4 and PWR is 5.2. I hope you find this information helpful.
