My father in law recently passed and we have all of his lvad equipment which was paid for in full. Several batteries charging station and machine that plugs to wall. Also has carrying cases etc. We would like to sell them to assist in paying funeral arrangements.

My brother-in-law had to get an LVAD a month ago, and the hospital gave him a vest. He hated the vest that was given to him because it was heavy and cumbersome, so I designed and made made him some lightweight but sturdy LVAD vests. The vests I made do NOT look like a fishing/hunting vest.

Hello! I'm writing on behalf of a family member who urgently, totally unexpectedly received an LVAD last May. He's been in and out of the hospital with little things (mostly volume status) but I'm trying to find THE BEST rehabilitation for him to go to.

My mother recently received a LVAD in the middle of July 2014. Three weeks have gone by and she is still suffering from shortness of breath and lack of energy. She seems no better than before the LVAD was implanted. Has this shortness of breath after surgery occurred for anyone else?

Hi everyone! My farher was implanted by a heartmate 3, three months ago. He is slowly recovering from the surgery and getting used to the device. Yet he always feels something like mehanical 'beats' in the thorax.

Question, I have had my LVAD for 3 years and 3 months. Traveled -ALOT- since and before I got my LVAD. However I have noticed something that is a little concerning. I don't dream and have not had a dream since this was placed into me.

Hi, I'm a new caregiver. My husband (49) got his VAD Aug 21 and is doing well except for dizzy spells and one really scarey pass out for 15 seconds. Is anyone experiencing these things and how are you dealing with it? We've done a right cath and echos and they are normal.

My father had his LVAD implanted on October 11, 2012. He has lost at least 50lbs and is unable to eat very much. He has good days and bad days with food. His biggest complaint is a pounding like sensation in his stomach. You can actually see what looks like a strong heartbeat in his stomach.
